Where do I go from here?

Well, here I am, starting my first blog. I clearly have no idea what I'm doing, but I hope someone can relate to, learn from, or just get a good laugh from this blog.

I live in the Rural Midwest with my husband Trav and my two rowdy boys, Gabe and Tuck. We live on a small farm, but we're not really farmers. We dabble, but nothing that might actually make us money! We have a great time, just gettin' by. I have a great life, but I still have sooo much to learn. I am bad with my money, I don't have the best of time management skills as a mom, and I like TV too much. I am good at a few things too. I am a caring and patient mom (most of the time), I make the best waffles in the world, and I can relate well to most people.

The one thing I really hope to do is slow down and simplify my life. I just want to spend time with my family and teach my children to do the same thing. I tend to do too many things at one time, and over-commit myself. I really hope this blog will hold me to the plan--simplify life. I want my boys to enjoy life and pick the things that mean the most to them--not try to do it all. It's a learning process for all of us, especially me.

I want to share my struggles, joys, stumbles and just plain guffaws. Most of the time life is just really good. I just try to get a bit better at it... almost every day:)
